Hi, I am John Floyd and thank you for visiting my website to learn more about J Floyd Engineering Ltd. Below, you can learn more about me, my experience, and what we strive to achieve at J Floyd Engineering Ltd.
In 2006, I graduated from Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) with a degree in Structural Engineering (BEng Honours).
As a Chartered Engineer CEng MIEI, I hold a seal of approval from my peers for my knowledge and competence in the construction and project management field.
In 2008, I emigrated to London and founded my company J Floyd Engineering Ltd. I managed a number of notable projects from one-off deep retrofits including multi levels basements to running a multi-million-pound mixed-use development.
In 2020, I returned to Ireland with my wife and two young children. I took the knowledge and experience gained from running J Floyd Engineering Ltd. in London for 12 years, back to my hometown of Cork.
